The 7 deadly words of book reviewing…

…according to NYTimes’s Papercuts.

It’s fun, it’s useful. Plus the comments. And I realised I’m already using 2 of them alarmingly often, so I should quit while I’m ahead😀 Quit the overusing, not the writing. Although, judging by the comments, few of the fancier words are left untouched; has reviewing really spoilt the language for everyone?😀

  1. Thanks for the link, that article was really interesting. It’s good to have an outside opinion sometimes, because we don’t always know when we’re sounding hackneyed.
